As she lured me into the act
of blushful perceiving
Knowingly guiding my eyes
to elate my confident look
Trapped me into an illusion
withholding me from breathing
Making me feel the guilty one
That secret glimpse was all it took

As she stood up and walked away
turned her head and smiled
My mind got pinned into a fantasy
nailed down lacking any braveness
Imagining Moses splitting the sea
forced to join the ones that were exiled
When she walks out of sight, I realize
there probably are no oceans on Venus.
